Best Time to Visit Londolozi South Africa

One of the best things about going on Safari in South Africa is that you can travel all year round and still enjoy the benefits of each season.

For game viewing, it is advised to go during the drier, winter months from around May to October in South Africa. This is a prime time for animals to be frequenting water holes and their movements are slightly easier to predict.

Winter also means the thinning out of vegetation which makes the game easier to spot in the lower grass. Although the mornings and evenings might get a bit cooler the daytime temperatures are very pleasant making the day out in the sun very enjoyable.

With that being said, animals and their movements can be unpredictable. There is no absolute guarantee of sightings at any given time. If you cannot book during the preferable winter months you will still enjoy the magic of the African bush at any time of the year.
